Casarecce — from the Italian for "homemade" — is a short, twisted scroll with a channel running through it. Every ridge, every curve is a surface that catches ragù, traps butter, holds pesto against the grain. This is not decorative. This is engineering.

Ours is stone-milled from heritage and ancient wheats — varieties grown for flavour, not yield. The grain comes from farms we know by name. The flour is milled on-site, fresh. There is no warehouse stage. There is no middleman flour.

Texture & flavour: Nutty, clean, slight sweetness from the fresh-milled germ. Bite is substantial — toothsome without being chewy. Holds al dente beautifully. Won't turn to paste if you pull it thirty seconds early.

Cook it: Salted water, hard boil, pull it just before you think it's ready. Finish in the sauce for 60–90 seconds with a splash of pasta water. Ragù, nduja and tomato, or brown butter with crispy capers. Don't drown it.
