South Devon honey, Totnes olive oil, Kadode Kampot sea salt, heritage grain sourdough. Four ingredients with clear provenance, fermented and baked slow. The honey is local enough that you could probably smell the hive on a good day. The olive oil is pressed, not processed.
Texture & flavour: Long, clean sweetness from the honey — not cloying, not candy. Slight tang from the ferment. Toasted grain backbone. Shatters cleanly, no powder, no cardboard aftertaste.
Eat with: Sharpham Rustic (we make their crackers too — that's how good this recipe is). Soft goat's cheese. Smoked salmon. Or broken into a bowl with soup.
